February 23, 2001 The City Council met in session on Thursday evening, February 22, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. in Kirksville, with Mayor Harold L. Ludwig presiding and the following Council members present. Martin, Sherwood, Griesbaum, Wiewel. Absent from the meeting Rossiter and Lowe. Mayor Ludwig called the meeting to order, and asked for a motion to go into closed session for discussion of legal matters. Griesbaum motioned to go into closed session. Martin seconds the motion. Motion carried all four yes. Wiewel motioned to close the closed session. Griesbaum second the motion. Motion carried all four yes.

Martin motioned to go back into open session. Wiewel second the motion. Motion carried all four yes.

Mayor Ludwig asked the Council for discussion regarding the closed session. Wiewel stated he did not want to take action at this time. Martin stated he would like to think about what was discussed.

Mayor Ludwig asked for any further discussion or comments. Having nothing further before the Council. Martin made the motion, to adjourn. Wiewel second the motion. Motion carried all four yes.
